Empowering families and children by providing
Specialised Continence and
Paediatric Physiotherapy Services,
tailored for optimal skill development .

Who We Help

We work with families and children throughout Australia with toileting and continence issues to support skill development and independence. Common concerns include delayed toilet training, bedwetting, constipation, toileting refusal, and bowel & bladder incontinence. We have experience working with neurotypical children and a wealth of experience working with children who are neurodiverse and have diagnosed disabilities.

Our aim is to assist each child to develop their physical skills and achieve their dreams.

How We Help

We work closely with families to support their children to achieve their goals through our expert care and collaborative approach to therapy. We provide a caring and supportive environment which allows us to gain a good understanding of their concerns, and connect with them to understand the bigger picture.

We offer continence assessments by telehealth or face to face, and physiotherapy treatment sessions can be clinic based, home visits or at school / daycare.

We pride ourselves in the quality of our NDIS reports. It is important to us that we provide you with quality evidence to request appropriate NDIS funding for therapy and continence needs as we understand personally how stressful review time can be for families.

We offer comprehensive continence assessments to understand each individual's needs; provide specific strategies to help reduce bladder and bowel issues, increase toileting independence, and overcome bedwetting; and offer ongoing support to parents to help their child on their journey.

We provide Comprehensive Continence Assessment Reports including personalised recommendations and quotes for continence related consumables and equipment to assist with NDIS funding.

Our telehealth services are available nationwide, including regional and remote areas, to provide you with easy accessibility to the support you need.

Face to Face therapy sessions are available at our clinic located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney or at The NAPA Centre in Lane Cove.

Physiotherapy for children with physical delays and disability

We also provide specialised physiotherapy for children with physical delays and disability to ensure that every child receives the care they require.

We offer appointments at our clinic located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and also provide in-home, day care, or school-based appointments.

Our key focus is to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality care in the most comfortable and convenient setting.

How We Work

At our clinic, we take a comprehensive approach to providing physiotherapy specifically for children. Kids Continence Services can be done by telehealth or face to face. Paediatric physiotherapy sessions are ‘in-person’ and ‘hands-on’

Telehealth Assessment

We believe that it’s beneficial to chat to you as parents and carers to understand the history of your concerns, your child’s background and the individual factors involved. Telehealth is a great platform to enable a thorough initial assessment no matter where you are in Australia.

We work closely with families to understand what treatments and strategies have already been tried, what worked, and what didn’t.

From here, we plan face to face sessions or develop a realistic plan.

Face-to-Face Consultation

If a face to face Kids Continence consultation is possible, we can arrange in-person sessions with you and your child. This helps us gain a deeper understanding of the factors involved that may be impacting their toileting independence.

All paediatric physiotherapy assessments and treatment sessions are in-person and can be arranged in the clinic, at home or in the daycare / school setting.

Develop a Realistic Plan

From there, we work with the family to develop a plan that is realistic. This often includes implementation of strategies to assist with continence issues, referrals to medical practitioners for further investigation if required and involvement of the child’s therapy team to ensure that we are all working towards their goals.

We know that this is a journey, and we are here to provide ongoing support along the way.
